Measure
One workflow at one portfolio company, followed end to end on a real job. What it costs now, in hours and in handoffs. Free, and yours whether or not we go further.
Diligence covers the contracts, the concentration and the working capital. It rarely covers the fact that nobody ever wrote down how the company actually runs. We capture that, and build the systems that run it without the seller.
One portfolio company, one workflow. A written measurement of what it costs today. No pitch deck.
The problem
The platform thesis depends on the acquired companies running the same way afterwards. That is where the margin is. But in a founder-run services business the operating knowledge is not in the software — it is in one or two people.
Which supplier actually answers when it matters. Which jobs get priced differently, and why. Which step in the process exists because of a past mistake. Which customer gets a call before the invoice goes out.
None of that was ever a document. It was judgment, and it belongs to a seller who now has liquidity and an earn-out clock. The knowledge walks at a known date — which is unusual, because most risks do not come with a date attached.
What we do
Not a wiki nobody opens, and not a consultant’s process map that describes what people say they do rather than what they actually do. We sit with the person who does the work, get the judgment out of their head, and build the thing that carries it — so the knowledge stops being a risk and becomes something the platform owns.

Time on site with the people who do the work. You get a mapped workflow and a fixed quote. If it is not worth building, we say so and stop.
Finished work, built to the agreed scope. Real output on the company’s own data.
The accounts, the documentation, all of it. A service agreement keeps it running if you want one, and you keep everything if you don’t.
Why us and not the alternatives
The coaching firms promise a business that runs without its owner, then hand over a framework and a certified implementer. The software vendors will wire the systems together and sell you on features.
We do the capture and the build. That is the whole reason this firm exists, and it is why the engagement ends with something running rather than something to read.
How pricing works
What moves the number: how many systems have to talk to each other, whether the software’s API is switched on at the plan tier the company is already paying for, and how much of the existing material needs cleaning up before it is usable.
